THE RELEASE

How this promo reached collectors

Brock's Vulpix 37 from Gym Challenge was reprinted with a gold foil W stamp. The stamp refers to Wizards of the Coast, not a Black Star promo symbol or a PRERELEASE stamp. This page keeps that stamped print separate from the ordinary expansion card. Sources differ on its distribution: Bulbapedia lists Top Deck magazine, while Pojo lists a Wizards store giveaway. No single exact handout date is asserted here.
